Pediatric Physiotherapy
Diagnosis of motor development + treatment
Service Description
Physiotherapy assessment for newborns and infants focuses on supporting healthy development during the most important period of brain and nervous system growth. Between birth and 18 months, movement is the primary way a child’s brain develops, organizes, and integrates new skills. My work with babies and young children is based on natural, age-appropriate movement patterns that emerge through the body in the first months of life. Therapy is always gentle and led by the child, using play, curiosity, and soft guidance rather than force or correction. Through simple movements, positioning, and interactive play, we support the brain in organizing movement, posture, coordination, and sensory integration. This approach helps the nervous system “catch up” when development feels delayed, uneven, or challenged—or simply supports a child in developing with ease, confidence, and balance. Sessions are adapted to each child’s individual needs and rhythm, creating a safe and calm environment where babies can explore movement naturally. Parents are actively involved and guided with simple, practical tools to continue supporting their child at home. This form of physiotherapy respects the innate intelligence of the child’s body and brain, offering support that is developmental, nurturing, and deeply respectful of each child’s unique path
